Privacy policy for collection of mobile phone numbers
Regional Hispanic Construction Association (“RHCA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who provide their mobile phone numbers through our website. This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect mobile phone numbers.
1. Information we collect
RHCA may collect a mobile phone number when an individual voluntarily provides it through our website, including but not limited to subscribing to SMS notifications, alerts, updates, or other communications.
2. Use of mobile phone numbers
- SMS communications: Mobile phone numbers may be used to send SMS messages related to RHCA activities, programs, services, events, and organizational communications.
- Marketing and promotional messages: Where required by law, promotional or marketing SMS messages will be sent only with the recipient’s prior consent. Recipients may opt out at any time.
- Operational and service messages: Mobile phone numbers may be used to deliver administrative messages, service updates, security notices, or other non-marketing communications.
3. Disclosure of information
RHCA does not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: To third-party vendors who provide SMS delivery or related services on RHCA’s behalf and who are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and data security.
- Legal obligations: When required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RHCA or others.
4. Data security
RHCA implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect mobile phone numbers from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage system is completely secure, and RHCA cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Opt-out and user rights
- Opt-out: Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions included in the message or by contacting RHCA directly.
